What we are looking for
To become an Exams and Timetabling Administrator in our Exams and MIS department, we need someone who is accurate, has great attention to detail and has knowledge of JCQ regulations. The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities. Although this position is centred on our Redditch campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required.
What you''ll be doing
To find a more detailed list of day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. In summary, as someone with experience in a similar role, you will support in many aspects. Key responsibilities include:
To accurately process attendance data, register and examination entries onto the MIS system
To accurately create, update and maintain curriculum and exam timetable information, and produce timetables for service users
To resolve queries with timetables, registers and examinations from service users in a timely manner
To communicate with awarding bodies over queries
To receive and dispatch question papers and stationery from awarding bodies, retain under strict security and distribute at the appropriate time to the appointed invigilator
To ensure the maintenance of strict security in relation to the retention and distribution of examination papers
Despatch examination results and certificates to candidates, issue examination results as required and maintain the central record on Unit-e
To be willing to attend and work at any college campus to support any aspect of the examination and timetabling process
To provide a helpful and efficient service to all service users

Requirements and conditionsLocation: Redditch-based, with potential duties at other locations
Contract: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £23,555 to £24,346 per annum (starting salary aligned to qualifications/experience)
Probationary period: 6 months
Criminal records and safeguarding: Enhanced DBS, two references, qualification validation
English and Maths: minimum level 2 in English and Maths; required to obtain if not already held
