Variable Hours Carshalton College is seeking a bank of variable hours Examination Invigilators to manage the Group s external examinations, in particular for the dates below for the GCSE Exams: Tuesday, 3rd November 2026 Wednesday, 4th November 2026 Thursday, 5th November 2026 Friday, 6th November 2026 Monday, 9th November 2026 Friday, 14 May 2027 Monday, 24 May 2027 Thursday, 27 May 2027 Tuesday, 8 June 2027 Monday, 14 June 2027 Ensuring the examination venues are arranged in accordance with awarding body regulations, you ll collect exam materials from the exams office punctually, prior to the start of examinations and manage the entry of candidates into exam venues ensuring their belongings and unauthorised items are appropriately stored. You ll open and distribute question papers, complete the attendance register whilst identifying students, complete Examinations Diary as appropriate and maintain vigilance during the length of the whole examination. With previous experience in examination administration, you ll be reliable and punctual with the ability to control an examination venue containing up to 400 candidates. With excellent communication skills, you ll be a meticulous and detail orientated individual, able to work under pressure and be a team player.
