Exam Invigilation

Smile Education are currently recruiting for Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools during the upcoming exam period in the Aston area of Birmingham. These schools provide supportive and well-structured environments for pupils and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and fairness during examinations. The successful applicants will play a key role in ensuring exams are conducted in line with regulations, supporting pupils in a calm and professional manner, and maintaining a secure and organised environment. This is a great opportunity to work within a dedicated school team during busy exam periods. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Supervising students before, during, and after examinations Ensuring exam conditions are maintained in accordance with JCQ regulations Setting up exam rooms, including distributing and collecting papers and materials Assisting students with queries in line with exam guidelines Monitoring behaviour and ensuring a quiet and focused environment Escorting students as required, including supervising rest breaks Reporting any irregularities, incidents, or concerns to senior staff Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times The successful candidate will: Hold an exam invigilation qualification or equivalent (essential) Have previous experience as an exam invigilator or working within a school setting (preferred) Be reliable, punctual, and highly organised Have strong attention to detail ..... full job details .....
