Events Lead

An awesome opportunity for an Events Lead has opened up with a growing business within the consumer products sector. In this role, you''ll take charge of planning and running events that engage audiences and elevate the brand, from trade activations to press days and sports and entertainment events across the UK. Based in Essex 3 days per week with 2 days from home, this role focuses on ensuring every detail is covered to deliver seamless experiences.

Description

The successful Events Lead will...

• Plan and organise events from start to finish, ensuring all logistics are in place.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality events.
• Oversee budgets and ensure events are delivered within financial constraints.
• Develop event schedules, timelines, and detailed project plans.
• Manage on-site event operations, including set-up, execution, and breakdown.
• Monitor event performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensure branding and messaging are consistent across all events.

Profile

A successful Events Lead should have...

• Proven experience in managing events
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confidence in managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

The successful candidate must be open to travel and to work the occasional evening and or weekend event too.
