Position Requirements for the Events Coordinator
- Previous experience in events, weddings, hospitality, or administration, ideally within a luxury environment.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and PMS systems.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and customer focused approach.
- Ability to use initiative, think creatively, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent written and spoken English.

Events Coordinator Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate small events and weddings from booking through to delivery.
- Liaise with clients by phone, email, Zoom, and in person planning memorable events.
- Conduct event show rounds and planning meetings.
- Prepare and maintain accurate event documentation and booking systems.
- Work closely with the Events Manager and Hotel Operations team to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Promote and upsell activities and experiences to enhance guest stays.
- Manage event bookings, rooming lists, and guest information across internal systems.
- Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Support the Reservations team with event related bookings and enquiries.
- Present upcoming events at weekly management meetings.
- Minimum 1-2 years'' experience in event planning, preferably weddings, or a qualification in Events Management or a related field.
