And we’re always on the lookout for skilled and motivated individuals to become part of the Gray Dawes family.Join Our JourneyOur UK based Events Team are looking to hire an experienced Events Account Manager to join our existing team. In this role you will develop and maintain relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities, converting enquiries and securing new and repeat business alongside building client relationships and managing client event accounts.This is a hybrid position, you’ll be required to be in the office 3 days a week and homeworking the remainder of the week (after you have passed your probationary and training period) unless you have events to manage. Flexibility is essential for this role.What You’ll Do
Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts, fostering strong relationships with existing clients and supporting implementation of new business.Act as the key contact for clients with events and groups business, obtaining a deep understanding of client business objectives and event requirements to provide tailored event solutions.Lead regular business review meetings, analysing data to identify patterns, uncover opportunities and develop strategic plans that drive client growth.Proactively engage in selling our event services, supporting revenue growth and contributing to the growth strategy.Contribute to client’s events through advising on beneficial additional services; creative ideas; business solutions and negotiation.Work closely with the Event Managers to develop proposals for pitches.Work alongside Event Managers from kick-off to completion to ensure high level of execution and delivery.Keep the events team informed of significant client developments and ensure internal records are accurate and up to date.Support the escalation process for complaints and client feedback, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and effectively.What we’re looking for
Proven experience as an Account Manager or Events Manager in the Events or related Industry.Exceptional client service skills.Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.Exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities.You’ll have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.Good understanding of Account Management tools and processes.Business and commercial awareness.Ability to prepare and interpret data to aid decision-making and story telling.Flexible, adaptable style and approach.What We Can Offer
