The Event Technology Manager will oversee the high-quality operations of technology, event websites/apps, data management, and other analytics.The Event Technology Manager will consistently deliver exceptional service to our clients through excellent project management and a keen eye for detail.Your ContributionsImplementation and project management of event registration websites, app builds and all technological aspects of our eventsKeep up-to-date on all emerging technologies, popular culture and trends and ensure team members are informed as wellInnovating new technology and how integration will flow between systemsDatabase Management: ensuring consistency of information and generating lists upon requestManage client evaluation communications such as save-the-dates, invitations, registration, confirmations, etcAssist in the development and management of online registrationManage relationships with technology suppliers, including the negotiation of contractsEffectively communicate with internal and external clients over the phone, in person and via emailWork with event Project Managers/Coordinators on overall program logistics, production, and implementationDatabase management to ensure consistency of information, accurate data, inputting new data when required and generating lists and reports upon requestCoordinate planning and utilisation of the mobile app. May assist with build depending on the platformBe a lead contact for attendee management and technology vendors, including pre-event and during executionResponsible for all registration collateral and equipment managementCreate and distribute post-event client surveysRegistration desk flow design and set upReview and manage any relevant third-party vendor invoice reconciliation, e.g. badging/attendee tracking, etcProvide insight into the user experience of all pre-event and onsite registration for both virtual and in-person eventsProvide training support to team members on current technology and processesAbility to travel domestically and internationally in support of client eventsSupport other members of the department as needed on ad-hoc projectsAct as an ambassador for the FIRST brand, leading by example and displaying the company’s core values (Ambition, Creativity, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork)As part of the interview process, you will be expected to complete a skills assessment test.What We Are Looking ForPlease be aware that we know experience does not always look like we describe it.
