European Sales Manager, Export Sales Manager - ManufacturerAs a European Sales Manager, you will be a natural salesperson who enjoys a small element of direct line management. You will demonstrate passion and commitment and inspire the same in others. You are looking for a role that champions technical sales and gives you autonomy to manage your distributors and drive strategy across your region.In addition, you will be:Knowledgeable in the technical consumables world of paints, resins, coatings, adhesives, construction, flooring, roofing, abrasives.Able to clearly communicate at all levels, with fluency in English; any other European languages would be an advantage.A highly motivated self-starter, able to see things commercially and prioritise workload as a result.In possession of a full driving license and passport and willingness to travel throughout Europe as required.Job description:
European Sales Manager, Export Sales Manager - ManufacturerThis role may require you to be out of the country up to 70/80% of your time depending on your home base. You will report directly to the UK Managing Director and be responsible for maximizing profitable sales across your territory.You will:Work with and manage key distributors to create demand by providing site support to end-users and wider industry stakeholders.Manage direct reports across the European territory (currently 3) and drive regional sales as a team.Plan and implement a business development strategy for your region.Manage your own diary and activity – autonomous role requiring planning of time, travel and accommodation where required.Prepare monthly reports of sales activity including customer feedback, progress against plan and competitor activity.Prospects:
