About the Role

The EUC Technical Lead (DV Cleared) will provide technical leadership across the end-user technology estate in Taunton, acting as the subject matter expert for EUC services. This full-time contract, paying £700-£740 per day, involves driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring secure, reliable user solutions that enhance business productivity. Candidates need leadership experience in infrastructure combined with EUC technical skills including SCCM, M365, and Windows. Active DV Clearance is strongly preferred due to onboarding timelines; applicants must be British Citizens. The role focuses on delivering effective technology to support operational efficiency.

Network IT is currently recruiting for a brilliant business in the South West of England, who are looking for an EUC Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across their end-user technology estate.
You will act as the subject matter expert for EUC services, driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring users have secure, reliable, and effective technology solutions that support business productivity.
The background our client is looking for is a mix of leadership experience within infrastructure, along with the technical routing with EUC technologies such as SCCM, M365, Windows etc.
Please note this is a DV Cleared role, candidates with active DV Clearance are a strong preference, due to onboarding timelines. You must be a British Citizen to be considered.
 
Role: EUC Tech Lead
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £740 per day
Status: Inside IR35
Location: Taunton
Working Practice: 4 days a week onsite
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and associated EUC  technologies.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical incidents and service requests.
  • Lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of new EUC technologies and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Mentor and support technical team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated, secure, and user focused solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
 
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong technical expertise in End User Computing, including Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM/MECM, networking, remote access, and file sharing technologies.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and directing the delivery of complex technical work.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience managing escalated incidents.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles, service management processes, and industry best practices.
  • Experience designing and implementing technical solutions and supporting project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security principles, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience producing technical documentation, standards, and quality assurance processes.
