About Us:

Our Research Development team plays a pivotal role in securing funding that fuels transformative projects and strengthens our international research profile.
Your Role:
As an integral member of our Research Development team, you will be the go-to person for administrative and project support in EU research funding activities. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and success of high-stakes funding proposals, including Horizon Europe and other prestigious international schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch administrative support for the development and submission of EU and international funding applications.
- Collaborate with the Research Development team to ensure compliance with funder requirements.
- Assist researchers in navigating application systems, particularly the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
- Coordinate internal processes, ensuring deadlines, compliance checks, and documentation are meticulously managed.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, awards, and project data in our internal systems.
- Facilitate smooth project set-ups at the post-award stage, liaising with finance and project management teams.
- draught and review contractual documentation, including collaboration agreements and due diligence records.
- Identify and promote upcoming EU funding opportunities relevant to SHAPE disciplines.
- Prepare management reports and data summaries to aid in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Deliver training sessions and guidance for researchers on application processes and team procedures.
- Support general administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency of the Research Development team.
What We''re Looking For:
- A strong track record in supporting academic research, particularly in developing competitive EU funding applications.
- Experience with financial and funder compliance, especially with the European Commission and European Research Council.
- Familiarity with grant application systems and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
