Hunters’ client, a growing commercial refurbishment contractor, are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join the team.

The role would suit someone from a construction and roofing background who enjoys working directly with clients, pricing work and then taking responsibility for getting the project delivered.

Project Manager - The Role

• Manage commercial refurbishment projects from enquiry through to completion, including roofing and associated works
• Carry out site visits, surveys and measurements, assessing scope, access and project requirements
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documents and prepare accurate estimates and quotations
• Coordinate labour, materials, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring projects run smoothly
• Monitor costs, programmes, quality and progress, dealing with variations and issues throughout the project

Project Manager - About You

• Previous experience in project management, estimating or contracts within construction, refurbishment or roofing
• Good understanding of commercial refurbishment works, with strong roofing knowledge highly desirable
• Experience pricing roofing, refurbishment or associated construction works
• Confident reading drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Commercially aware, organised and confident dealing with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
