Waites Recruitment Consultancy are seeking a construction Estimator for a client on a full time basis based in South East London (Mottingham). Estimator: Do you want to work for one of the largest and longest established companies in the heritage sector, working with prestigious clients, restoring some of the most remarkable historic buildings across London and the South-East? We have an opportunity for an Estimator with main contractor experience, pricing for different trades to join our team. Previous experience in the stonework and restoration sector is desirable but not essential. Responsibilities of a Estimator include (but are not limited to) Careful review of tender information provided to understand the full scope of works required Issuing sub-tender packages with the correct package specific drawings, specification, and scope documents. Preparation of tender deliverable documents which will include liaising with other departments, contracts, design and technical Undertake post tender negotiations where required Additional responsibilities include site visits with clients and sub-contractors, obtaining and reviewing sub-contractor quotations, responding quickly to post-tender queries, and handing over secured projects to the delivery team.
