Estimator- UK Wide

We''re working with a well-established specialist contractor operating across civil engineering and ground engineering, delivering technically complex infrastructure schemes nationwide. With a strong forward order book and continued growth, they''re looking to bring an experienced Estimator into their pre-construction team.

This is a great opportunity to join a business known for its technical capability and involvement in high-profile projects across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and major civils.

The Role
You''ll play a key role in the successful delivery of tenders, working closely with commercial and operational teams to produce accurate, competitive estimates.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for civil and ground engineering projects
• Reviewing tender documentation to identify risks, opportunities, and key drivers
• Engaging with supply chain and internal stakeholders to build robust pricing submissions
• Supporting the wider bid team through the full tender lifecycle

About You

• Proven experience in estimating within civil engineering, groundworks, or infrastructure
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Experience with estimating software such as Causeway, Candy, or similar
• Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Civil Engineering or Construction (preferred)
• Experience in piling, foundations, or geotechnical works would be advantageous
