Job Title: Estimator 

Salary: Circa £40,000 - £55,000

Location: North Manchester

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and capable Estimator to join their newly established Facades Division within a larger, well-established group. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping estimating processes within a growing business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for facade projects
• Analyse tender documentation and assess project requirements
• Support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure commercially sound bids
• Report directly to the Estimating Manager
• Contribute to the development and improvement of estimating processes and systems

Candidate Profile

• Mid-level experience in estimating (ideally within facades, construction, or related sectors)
• Dynamic and proactive approach, with the ability to add value beyond core responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a competitive tendering environment
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proficient in Excel; experience or interest in implementing new estimating systems is highly desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams
