An established construction business specialising in the design and delivery of commercial and industrial buildings, with a particular focus on logistics, warehouses and distribution facilities.The business operates through a turnkey, design-and-build model, bringing design, engineering, procurement and construction together under one roof.The UK operation is headquartered in Birmingham, with teams across the UK. Its project portfolio includes large-scale industrial and logistics developments, alongside offices, schools and multi-storey car parks.The RoleThey are looking for an experienced Estimator to join the team on a permanent basis, based from their Birmingham head office.You will play a key role within the pre-construction team, pricing and developing tenders for large-scale commercial and industrial projects. Working closely with the design, procurement and project teams, you will be involved from the early stages of a project through to tender submission and handover.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing estimates and tenders for large-scale construction projectsReviewing drawings, specifications and design informationDeveloping detailed project costs and pricingPreparing and managing subcontractor and supplier enquiriesAnalysing quotations and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliersBuilding up costs across individual trade packagesIdentifying commercial risks, opportunities and potential value engineeringWorking closely with design and project teams to develop ..... full job details .....
