The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction, with experience preparing competitive and commercially robust estimates for a range of civil engineering and groundworks projects.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator looking to join a well-established, family-run construction business, working on a varied range of projects across Cumbria and the wider area.You will be responsible for preparing accurate tenders and quotations from initial enquiry through to submission, working closely with our commercial, operational and project teams to ensure our bids are both competitive and deliverable.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and assess incoming tender opportunities and enquiries.Analyse drawings, specifications, schedules and other tender documentation.Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for civil engineering and construction works.Obtain and analyse quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.Prepare material, ..... full job details .....
