The company specialises in the manufacture of high-quality machined components for customers across a range of industries and is now looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Estimator to join its commercial team.The RoleAs Technical Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by preparing accurate and commercially competitive quotations for both new and existing customers.Working closely with customers, suppliers, production, engineering and sales teams, you will review engineering drawings and technical specifications to assess manufacturing requirements, estimate production costs and prepare quotations that support both customer requirements and business profitability.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in technical estimating, precision engineering or a manufacturing environment who enjoys working with technical information, solving problems and managing multiple quotations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate quotations from customer drawings, specifications and enquiriesInterpret engineering drawings, technical data and customer requirementsCalculate material, machining, tooling, subcontract and labour costsLiaise with suppliers to obtain ..... full job details .....
