Mechanical Estimator Required Local to Leeds! Our client carries out large, complex MEP engineering project works across the UK and Ireland, delivering leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including; Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Heritage, Hospitality and Leisure, Life Sciences and Residential through their Major Projects, Facilities Management and Specialist Projects divisions. The role: Our client is looking to take on an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their Commercial department. The Ideal Candidate will be a motivated and reliable individual who brings enthusiasm and positively to the team and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This role is primarily working from home, however there may be the occasional requirement to head to site. This role is suitable for someone local to either Leeds or Manchester, with our client looking to increase their presence in the North of England. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for detailed mechanical take offs for a variety of projects from high level cost plans / budgets, design and build and fully designed. Taking tenders through from arrival in the company to the effective handover to our contracts team when the project is secured. Liaise and communicate with Sub-Contractors, Vendors and Suppliers to prepare tenders in a timely manner. Understand and analyse mechanical drawings and schematics to establish the right price.
