Quantity Surveyor / Estimator - Civils and GroundworksLocation: Horwich (Office Based)We''re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with estimating experience to join our growing team in Horwich.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both pre-construction and project delivery, with the role currently split approximately 70% estimating and 30% project surveying.You''ll be working across a varied portfolio of civil engineering and groundworks projects, including:Domestic projectsSocial housingCommercial developmentsIndustrial worksSmall housing developmentsProjects range from small packages through to contract values of approximately 1.5 million.The RolePreparing accurate estimates and tender submissionsPricing civils and groundworks packagesManaging project costs and commercial performance on live projectsValuations, variations and final accountsWorking closely with clients, subcontractors and the delivery teamAbout YouWe''re looking for someone who:Has solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civils and/or groundworksHas estimating experience and is confident pricing work independentlyIs commercially aware and well organisedWants to play a key role in a small, ambitious businessIs based locally to Horwich or within a reasonable commuting distanceThis role would particularly suit someone with a few years of industry experience who is looking for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to have a genuine impact within a close-knit team.What We ..... full job details .....
