Quantity Surveyor / Estimator - Civils & Groundworks

Location: Horwich (Office Based)

We''re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with estimating experience to join our growing team in Horwich.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both pre-construction and project delivery, with the role currently split approximately 70% estimating and 30% project surveying.

You''ll be working across a varied portfolio of civil engineering and groundworks projects, including:

• Domestic projects

• Social housing

• Commercial developments

• Industrial works

• Small housing developments

Projects range from small packages through to contract values of approximately -1.5 million.

• Preparing accurate estimates and tender submissions

• Pricing civils and groundworks packages

• Managing project costs and commercial performance on live projects

• Valuations, variations and final accounts

• Working closely with clients, subcontractors and the delivery team

We''re looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civils and/or groundworks

• Has estimating experience and is confident pricing work independently

• Is commercially aware and well organised

• Wants to play a key role in a small, ambitious business

• Is based locally to Horwich or within a reasonable commuting distance

This role would particularly suit someone with a few years of industry experience who is looking for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to have a genuine impact within a close-knit team.
