We''re working with a highly respected large UK main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex, high-quality construction projects across a range of sectors.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Mid-Level Estimator to join their pre-construction team.This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator who is ready to take the next step in their career, working on a varied portfolio of projects alongside an experienced and supportive pre-construction team.Estimator Roles and ResponsibilitiesPreparing detailed estimates and tenders for a range of construction projectsReviewing drawings, specifications, scopes and tender documentationProducing accurate bills of quantities and pricing schedulesObtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotationsIdentifying risks, opportunities and value engineering optionsLiaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliersSupporting the preparation of tender submissions and commercial reviewsWorking closely with the pre-construction, design and commercial teamsContributing to the development of project budgets and cost plansEnsuring estimates are accurate, competitive and delivered within agreed deadlinesEstimator RequirementsConstruction related degree / qualifications4+ years Estimating experienceWorked for a main contractor across various sectorsProficient using estimating software and Microsoft packagesEstimator BenefitsNegotiable salaryTravel/car ..... full job details .....
