With a strong pipeline of secured work and long-term growth plans, this is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to progress their career within a successful contractor.Estimator roles and responsibilitiesPrepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects.Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to determine project requirements.Obtain and analyse quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.Assist in developing competitive tender strategies and value engineering solutions.Work closely with commercial, design and operational teams throughout the tender process.Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits and client discussions where required.Identify project risks, opportunities and cost-saving measures.Manage multiple tender opportunities while meeting key deadlines.Estimator requirementsPrevious experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment.Experience pricing new-build and refurbishment construction projects.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and procurement processes.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent commercial awareness and attention to ..... full job details .....
