Estimator

A client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting an Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm and paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for bespoke products and customer orders.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations.
• Maintain and update costing spreadsheets and databases.
• Support preparation of quotations and tender submissions.
• Ensure estimates align with company pricing policies and profit targets.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Estimator position:

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Manufacturing and production or construction industry experience desirable
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
