This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in engineering, manufacturing, CNC machining or estimating who can interpret technical drawings and understand machining processes. The role: + Interpret customer requirements from CAD, technical drawings, specifications and models. + Prepare detailed quotations and bids for subcontract machining and metal finishing. + Work closely with Purchasing and the Machine Shop to establish accurate costs and lead times. + Review margins and make informed bid/no-bid decisions. + Support Production Control and Sales Order Processing with new orders and ERP input. + Work alongside Business Development to provide customer updates on delivery dates and work in progress.
