Estimator - Groundworks and Residential ConstructionLocation: Norwich (Head Office) Salary: 45,000- 55,000 per annum (DOE) Hours: Full-time, 41.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading groundworks and civil engineering company, who are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to join their Head Office team in Norwich. This role reports to the Lead Estimator and supports both the Production and Commercial Departments, playing a key part in the company''s commercial operations.This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate with strong organisational skills, excellent IT proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You''ll be confident on the phone, calm under pressure, and proactive about developing your knowledge and career within a supportive team.Key ResponsibilitiesEstimate work value from site visits, architectural drawings, and specificationsMaintain a comprehensive database of cost information for planning purposesObtain budget quotations and guide prices for specialist worksSupport the Small Works Team and residential construction projectsUndertake manual and digital take-offs from drawings for roads, sewers, foundations, and external worksResearch costs for materials, transport, labour, and equipmentBuild and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliersObtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors within required timeframesPrepare and submit ..... full job details .....
