      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | We are currently looking for an experienced  Estimator  to join an established and growing construction business based in Ipswich.  This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimator looking to take the next step in their career and become an important part of a busy pre-construction and commercial team. You will have the opportunity to work on a varied range of projects, preparing accurate and competitive tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.  The Role  As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications before producing detailed and accurate cost estimates. You will undertake quantities and take-offs, assess labour, material, plant and subcontractor costs, and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.  You will work closely with the wider commercial and operational teams, as well as liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain partners throughout the tender process.
