Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Estimator to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual with an engineering background who can confidently prepare quotations, manage customer enquiries, and support business growth. The successful candidate will also take a leading role in developing the company''s spare parts sales division, building relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
Working within a specialist engineering environment, you''ll support projects supplied to clients across the Middle East and other international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for engineering projects
- Review customer specifications and technical requirements
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, engineering and production teams to develop competitive proposals
- Follow up quotations and build strong customer relationships
- Lead and grow the spare parts sales side of the business
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling spare parts and services
- Maintain quotation records and sales activity using internal systems
- Support the wider commercial team in achieving sales targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Estimator, Quotations, Internal Sales, Sales Engineer, or Commercial Engineering role
- Experience preparing quotations within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong commercial awareness and customer service skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
