If you''re experienced in CAD (ideally SolidWorks), have a sharp eye for detail, and love transforming complex drawings into accurate, commercially sound estimates - this one''s for you.What you''ll be doing:Creating, reviewing, and modifying CAD drawings (SolidWorks experience preferred)Producing precise cost calculations covering materials, labour, and overheadsPurchasing and sourcing materials to ensure cost-effectiveness and availabilityAdvising customers on design improvements and manufacturing optimisationInterpreting technical drawings to assess job requirementsCollaborating with production teams to ensure feasibility and cost accuracyManaging supplier relationships and negotiating material costsBalancing multiple projects while keeping your eye on the detailSupporting business growth through timely and accurate estimating(Bonus points for experience in Radan or similar CNC programming software)What you''ll bring:Experience as an Estimator in sheet metal or metal manufacturingSolid CAD skills - particularly SolidWorksStrong technical drawing interpretation skillsUnderstanding of manufacturing processes in a sheet metal environmentExcellent maths and cost analysis skillsConfident communicator with customers, suppliers, and internal teamsOrganised, detail-focused, and ..... full job details .....
