Are you an experienced Estimator, with a background tendering on construction projects?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a growing, regional main contractor, who are currently looking to appoint an Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis out of their office in Nottingham. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately calculating costs and assessing risks on potential upcoming projects.

What are we looking for?

  • Prior experience working as an Estimator for a construction based business.
  • Ideally, past knowledge of working on 2 stage tender processes.
  • Highly organised individual with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high quality of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse tender documentation, drawings and specifications to understand project scope and commercial implications.
  • Prepare and issue tender enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Carry out accurate material, labour and preliminaries take-offs for commercial fit-out-projects
  • Compile complete, accurate and competitive tender submissions.
