Estimator - (M and E)

RGB Recruitment Ltd are pleased to be supporting a well established Mechanical and Electrical engineering business who are actively looking for a proactive and experienced M and E Estimator to join their growing team. An independent company, the business has grown into one of the leading providers of Mechanical and Electrical services across Devon and Cornwall.

The Role
As an M and E Estimator, you will:
- Work alongside the Regional Estimating Manager, undertaking full estimating duties
- Produce accurate quotations from technical drawings and specifications.
- Support bid preparation, cost analysis, and review of M and E designs.
- Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather pricing and ensure feasibility.
- Help to develop estimating tools, maintain databases, and improve cost-estimating methodology.
Who We’re Looking For
Ideally, you will have:
- A technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC, lighting, power distribution etc).
- Previous experience in an Estimating role ideally within a building services or building contractor environment
- Good numeracy, attention to detail, and strong IT skills.
- A proactive approach and strong communication skills.
- A team player who is keen to be a key part of business and develop their career
