Estimator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and reputable Main Contractor, who are looking to appoint an experienced Construction Estimator to join their pre-construction team. The successful candidate will have a strong track record within a Main Contractor environment, with experience pricing and securing construction projects. The contractor delivers a varied portfolio of projects, including Traditional Contracting, Design and Build and Cladding Remediation Works. The Role Managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission. Preparing accurate and competitive construction estimates. Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Producing detailed estimates and cost plans. Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations. Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers. Identifying commercial risks and opportunities. Working closely with design, commercial and pre-construction teams. Attending tender meetings, site visits and client meetings. Presenting tenders to senior management. Supporting successful project handovers to the delivery team. About You Proven experience as a Construction Estimator within a Main Contractor. Strong track record of pricing and winning construction projects. Experience with Traditional and Design and Build contracts. Cladding remediation, fa ade, refurbishment or building envelope experience would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and specifications. ..... full job details .....
