The Client:A growing and reputable construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the region. They pride themselves on professionalism, reliability, and strong client relationships. As their workload continues to expand, they are looking to appoint an experienced Building Estimator to join their team.Role Overview:The Building Estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JCT Contracts and be confident in managing the financial aspects of projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissionsAnalyse drawings, specifications, and other documentationConduct material take-offs and pricing exercisesLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotationsAssess project risks and opportunitiesEnsure all estimates comply with JCT Contract requirementsSupport project teams with cost planning and value engineeringMaintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates and industry trendsRequirements:Proven experience as a Building Estimator within the construction industryStrong working knowledge of JCT ContractsExcellent numerical and analytical skillsAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsProficient in estimating software and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to ..... full job details .....
