Estimator

An excellent opportunity is now available for an Estimator to join a well-established Main Construction Contractor based in Glasgow. They work across a variety of sectors such as Community, Health/ Care and Education and always complete projects to the highest of standards whether it is a new build, conservation or refurbishment project. It is important that you possess Main Contract Estimating experience and have worked across multiple sectors for this role. Responsibilities: Compile bids and tenders for new work. Identify and recommend ways to reduce costs. Prepare and analyse cost estimates. Calculate costs of materials, transport, labour and equipment hire. Work with subcontractors and obtain quotes. Collate detailed price lists. Follow all health and safety requirements. Present bids or estimates to clients when required. Prepare and submit final quotations for work.
