This is a varied role combining construction estimating, tender preparation and bid writing. You will be responsible for developing reliable project costs, coordinating input from suppliers and internal departments, and producing high-quality tender submissions. The position would suit an experienced construction estimator who is commercially minded, comfortable working with technical information and able to communicate complex proposals clearly in writing. What You’ll Be Doing Develop cost estimates for new construction opportunities from early-stage concepts through to detailed tenders. Assess drawings, specifications and employer requirements to establish the full scope of work. Complete material, labour, plant and equipment take-offs. Produce tender pricing, cost plans and supporting commercial documentation. Coordinate and write professional responses for bids, pre-qualification questionnaires and tender submissions.
