Working within a collaborative pre-construction team, you will play a key role in the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders for a diverse range of projects.The role would suit an Estimator, Assistant Estimator, Construction Engineer, Quantity Surveyor or Civil Engineering professional seeking to develop their career within a growing and technically challenging sector.Key Responsibilities- Assess and review tender opportunities to determine suitability for bid submission.- Analyse drawings, specifications and tender documentation to establish project scope and requirements.- Prepare conceptual, budgetary and detailed cost estimates for civil engineering and energy infrastructure projects.- Undertake site visits to assess access constraints, construction methodology, risks and project-specific requirements.- Collaborate with operational and project delivery teams to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.- Produce accurate take-offs, cost plans and tender pricing schedules.- Prepare and issue subcontractor enquiry packages and evaluate supplier and subcontractor ..... full job details .....
