Estimator - Cladding and Façades Location: Potters Bar, HertfordshireSalary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annumSector: Construction / Cladding and FaçadesEmployment Type: Full-time Hill McGlynn are currently working with a leading multidisciplinary contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their team, based from their offices in Potters Bar. Our client has an established track record delivering a diverse range of construction projects and is looking to strengthen its pre-construction team with an Estimator who has experience within cladding, façades and external envelope packages. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established contractor, working on a variety of projects from tender stage through to handover. The Role As an Estimator, you will be responsible for the accurate and competitive pricing of cladding and façade projects, working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and operational teams. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed estimates and tenders for cladding, façade and external envelope packages. Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation. Producing accurate take-offs and detailed pricing. Obtaining, analysing and negotiating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Developing competitive and commercially viable tender submissions. Identifying project risks, exclusions, opportunities and potential value-engineering solutions. ..... full job details .....
