Estimator (High-End/Luxury Marble)

Madisons Recruitment are seeking an experienced Estimator with a solid background in high-end residential construction to join our client on a feelance basis as soon as possible

You will support the pre-construction and project delivery teams by producing accurate cost estimates for luxury marble installations including flooring, worktops, bathrooms, and kitchens, with project values ranging from £50,000 to £1 million.

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications using AutoCAD and Excel
• Accurately bill quantities and prepare detailed cost estimates
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to gather pricing and project details
• Produce tender documentation and take-offs for marble-related scopes
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all estimation work, particularly within bespoke and high-end finishes
• Support procurement and project handover processes as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in estimating for high-end residential construction projects
• Strong AutoCAD and Excel proficiency
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documents
• Previous involvement in projects involving marble or stone fabrication is highly desirable
• Understanding of residential construction including bathrooms, kitchens, and interior finishes
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
• Confident working independently and as part of a small dynamic team
