Estimator - Fit-Out, Refurbishment and ConstructionLocation: West YorkshireSalary: £45,000 - £60,000 + PackageJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time The OpportunityA successful and growing construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join its pre-construction team in West Yorkshire.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering a diverse range of fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects across the commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sector markets.You''ll play a key role in securing future work, producing competitive tenders, and working closely with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery from the outset. The RoleReporting to the Head of Pre-Construction, responsibilities will include: Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects. Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Undertaking detailed take-offs and cost analysis. Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations. Producing tender submissions and pricing documentation. Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options. Attending site visits, tender interviews and client meetings. Working closely with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Operations teams. Maintaining a strong understanding of market conditions and supply chain pricing.
