An established and highly successful Civil Engineering Contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator to join its growing commercial team.Operating across a diverse portfolio, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering quality schemes for both public and private sector clients. The company has a strong order book and a long-standing client base, with projects typically valued up to £2m-£3mThe RoleReporting into the pre-construction team, you will be responsible for managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission.Key duties will include:Reviewing tender documentation and specificationsProducing accurate cost estimates and pricing schedulesObtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotationsConducting site visits where requiredIdentifying project risks and opportunitiesPreparing tender submissions and supporting documentationWorking closely with operational and commercial teams during bid stagesAssisting with negotiations and value engineering opportunitiesThe PersonWe are keen to speak with Estimators who have experience within Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Highways, Groundworks or general Construction environmentsYou will ideally possess:Previous estimating experience within Construction or Civil EngineeringStrong Commercial awarenessAbility to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentsExcellent numerical and analytical skillsGood communication and stakeholder management abilitiesA proactive and ..... full job details .....
