Estimator - Fit Outs & Refurbishments

Are you an experienced Estimator within the commercial refurbs/fit out/construction-sectors?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with an established, regional-commercial refurbs/fit outs-contractor, who are currently searching for an Estimator to join them on a permanent basis out of their Derbyshire office. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for ensuring the long-term commercial success of-the business, by accurately forecasting the total costs of our fit out/refurb projects.

What are we looking for?

• Proven commercial experience working for a fit out, refurbishment or construction based company
• Advanced use of Excel is essential
• Highly organised individual with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high quality of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse tender documentation, drawings and specifications to understand project scope and commercial implications.
• Prepare and issue tender enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Carry out accurate material, labour and preliminaries take-offs for commercial fit-out-projects
• Compile complete, accurate and competitive tender submissions.
