This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in estimating, ideally within civil engineering, roads, flooring, concrete.Location: Greater Glasgow Salary: 38k - 42k Flexibility: Occasional working away from homeKey Responsibilities:Prepare accurate estimates for concrete-related civil engineering projectsDevelop detailed cost breakdowns and project budgetsAnalyse and understand programming and temporary works requirementsUtilise estimating procedures efficiently, with a structured and analytical approachCollaborate with project teams to gather essential dataMaintain and update records using Excel (proficiency required) Ideal Candidate:Background in Estimating or Quantity Surveying, ideally within civil engineeringUnderstanding of estimating procedures and the ability to apply them practicallySite experience or exposure would be beneficial but not essentialSkilled in analysing data, forecasting costs, and managing project budgetsStrong organisational and problem-solving skills This role is perfect for an Estimator who is not solely site-based but has some relevant site exposure.
