Estimator - Fitout Amazing opportunity for an estimator to join a reputable tier 1 fitout contractor in the City of London!About:We are currently looking for an estimator to join a Tier 1 fitout contractor, in central London. Our client has an outstanding turnover of over 350mill +. As Estimator you will take responsibility of projects with the values of up to 20 million. This includes large scale multi million pound flagships.The role:Identify risks and contingenciesWork with architects, engineers, quality surveyors and project managers to clarify technical and pricing issuesMeasure and calculate the quantities of materials, labour, equipment and other construction activitiesStudy architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents to understand the scope of workProduce detailed BOQs showing descriptions of work, units of measurements, quantities, rates and total amountsAbout you:Tier 1 fitout contractor would be desirable, you should have:Knowledge of building materials and construction methodsGood mathematical and analytical skillsAttention to detail, communication, and negotiation skillsThe ability to read and interpret construction drawingsKnowledge of construction rates and market pricesWhat we can offer:Gain experience working with a huge tier 1 fitout contractorAbove market rate salaryCar allowanceAnnual Leave + bank holidays Enhanced maternity and Paternity leaveHuge bonus potential + more ..... full job details .....
