Fawkes and Reece working with a Leading North West based contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their established commercial team based in the North West.With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and public sector developments, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected regional contractor with a secure pipeline of work.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders, reviewing drawings and specifications, managing supply chain pricing enquiries and supporting the pre-construction team throughout the bid process.The role would suit an Estimator with experience working for a main contractor who is commercially aware, organised and confident managing multiple tenders simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissionsReviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentsObtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotationsAttending site visits and pre-tender meetingsWorking closely with operational and commercial teamsIdentifying value engineering opportunitiesRequirements:Previous experience working as an Estimator within constructionMain contractor experience preferredStrong understanding of construction methods and pricingExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentWhat''s on Offer:Competitive salary and ..... full job details .....
