My client is one of the UK''s leading structural steelwork specialists designing, manufacturing and constructing a wide portfolio of projects for a variety of clients, and have been established for over 75 years with a professional and dynamic team.Their experienced and knowledgeable workforce can tackle projects from simple building frames to complex structures. With plants in the England they can process 50,000 tonnes of steel per annum and can service clients at locations throughout the UK and Europe.Due to growth of their business they are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join their team at their site in Barnsley.Working hours Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm Friday 8.30am to 4.45pmTHE BENEFITS: Company Pension, health cash plan and sick pay schemeTHE ROLE: As an Estimator you will be responsible forPrepare competitive tenders and estimates for building projectsConsider factors such as technical, materials, transportation, fabrication, and erection costsEvaluate key interface packages including metal decking, precast stairs, edge protection, and intumescent fire protection, among othersProduce quotations and complete clients'' pricing documentsParticipate in tender adjudication, document submission, and client meetings throughout the tender processFacilitate handover of projects to the delivery team upon awardPlay a key role in winning new businessCollaborate closely with departments such as design, construction, and salesCultivate and maintain ..... full job details .....
