Estimator - Civil Engineering role available!Location: Manchester (5 days on site)Salary: Up to 80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a leading Tier One Civil Engineering Contractor working on a major infrastructure project based in Manchester.This is your chance to play a key role in securing and delivering large-scale civil engineering works on a flagship project. Working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and operational teams, you''ll lead the estimating process on complex infrastructure packages and help drive successful project delivery.The RoleAs an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate, commercially competitive estimates while identifying opportunities to add value throughout the tender process.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of detailed estimates for major civil engineering works.Review drawings, specifications, programmes and contract documentation.Produce accurate cost plans and tender submissions.Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.Carry out risk and opportunity assessments.Develop value engineering solutions to improve project outcomes.Liaise with commercial, engineering, planning and operational teams throughout the bid process.Attend tender meetings, site visits and client presentations.Prepare tender adjudication reports for senior management.Maintain estimating databases and historical cost ..... full job details .....
