Senior Quantity Surveyor - MEICA / WaterLocation: HertfordshireSalary: 55,000 - 75,000 + PackageEmployment: PermanentWorking Pattern: 5 days per week on siteThe OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering MEICA and water infrastructure projects across the region.This is a site-based commercial role working closely with the project, engineering and operational teams to manage the commercial delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation packages.The role would suit an SQS with a strong background in water, wastewater, utilities or MEICA projects who is comfortable managing projects commercially from procurement through to final account.The RoleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:Commercial management of MEICA packages and projectsManaging subcontractor procurement, tendering and appointmentsPreparing and managing subcontractor accountsCost forecasting, reporting and budget managementApplications for payment and valuationsManaging variations and change controlIdentifying and managing commercial risks and opportunitiesSupporting project teams with contractual and commercial mattersWorking under NEC contractsManaging project costs through delivery to final accountWorking closely with Project Managers, Engineers and the wider commercial teamEnsuring projects deliver against agreed commercial targetsWhat We''re Looking ForIdeally, you will ..... full job details .....
