This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in securing and delivering competitively priced tenders within the social housing sector. The Role As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, commercially sound cost estimates across a range of social housing projects. You will work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure submissions are competitive, technically detailed, and delivered within strict deadlines. Key ResponsibilitiesReview drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to prepare accurate cost estimatesProduce detailed tender build-ups and pricing submissionsCarry out take-offs and prepare Bills of QuantitiesObtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliersIdentify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options within tendersMonitor labour, plant, and material costs to ensure up-to-date pricingSupport the handover from pre-construction to delivery teamsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners RequirementsMinimum five years'' experience within the construction industryProven experience within the social housing sector is essentialStrong ..... full job details .....
