Estimator - Repairs & FRA Works

Location: Oxford, Rainham or Norwich
Salary: -50,000 - -60,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishment or Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) projects? Have you worked with Local Authorities, Housing Associations or public sector clients?

We''re looking for a commercially minded Estimator to join a growing team, playing a key role in pricing remedial repairs, FRA works and property improvement projects across public sector property portfolios.

• Prepare accurate estimates for repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishment and FRA remedial works.
• Review drawings, specifications and schedules to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Produce take-offs, pricing documents and tender submissions.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project handovers.

• Previous estimating experience within repairs, maintenance, refurbishment or FRA projects.
• Experience pricing works for Local Authorities, Housing Associations or public sector clients is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, specifications and cost planning.
• Excellent commercial awareness with strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software.
