With a growing pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic pre-construction team and contribute to our continued success.

Role Overview:
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of construction projects. Working closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors, you will analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor quotes to develop robust tenders and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects.

• Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.

• Obtain and analyze quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Assist in the development of procurement strategies and project budgets.

• Participate in value engineering and risk management processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams and attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings.

• Maintain accurate records of pricing, rates, and subcontractor performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, or similar).

• Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
