Estimator - City of London

Our client, a well-established commercial fit out contractor, is looking for an Estimator to join their fit out team. You will play a pivotal role winning and securing new projects for the business as well as building long-lasting relationships with key clients.

Due to the nature of the works, they would like someone that has a background in project delivery, potentially coming from a Site or Project Management background. They are also looking for someone with experience working on or pricing Small Works Projects from -10k-100k.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join a business that has seen year on year growth and truly supports their employees to develop and grow their skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client briefs and site visits to develop clear project understanding and produce detailed cost estimates.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to identify scope, calculate material and labour take-offs, and establish tender opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to compile fully inclusive and competitive estimates.
• Prepare tender documentation including programmes, scopes of work, clarifications, and responses to RFIs.
• Attend site visits, tender reviews, and project meetings to validate designs, address potential site issues, and support project handover and close-out.

The ideal Estimator will have:

• Fit out contracting background
• Experience in estimating and quoting
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Full UK Driving license

Salary - -60,000 to -70,000 PAYE
